Hello, my name is Daniel Leatherwood.  I am one of the third grade teachers.  I am really blessed to have such a great group of people to work with.  This is my first year at Moreland and I really love the school.
I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.  I grew up in Clayton County and went through school there.  I met my wife in high school and we got married in the summer of ‘05.  We are expecting a little one this summer and we are very excited.  Teaching has definitely prepared me to be a dad, and at least there will be only one and not a classroom full.
