Hello, my
name is Mrs. Debbie Bassett. I am 42 years old and this is my tenth year
teaching and all of these here at Moreland Elementary. I’ve taught third
grade for nine of those years. I have a Master’s Degree in Early
Childhood Education and I’m presently working on my Specialist’s Degree
in Early Childhood Education. I started college ten years after I
graduated from Campbell High School of Fairburn in 1982(now Landmark
Christian). Later, I married my husband in October. We have been married
for 24 wonderful years. We have daughter 19 and a son 14. I love animals
and my children share that love. We have three dogs, a cat, a hamster, a
gecko, a bearded dragon, and a balled python. The snake is my daughters
(I’m not a snake person). I love to go camping and spending time at the
lake. After tent camping for many years, I now have a larger camper that
makes camping and boating even more fun. I love going to the mountains
and seeing our National Parks and anything related to our history. I love
teaching and consider it a privilege to teach your children. I plan on
being here for many years to come. Maybe, I will have the honor of
teaching more than one of your children. |
