My
name is Cheri Barnett, and I am 41 years old. I have been married for 21 years
to my electrician husband, David. After being raised in Fayette County, we have
lived in Coweta County for 18 years and are proud to call it home. We have 3
beautiful sons, Robbie 19, Ben 16 and Josh 15 years old. They do keep us busy,
but we are enjoying every minute of it.
I appreciate teaching first grade especially because it allows me to teach the
children to read and to enjoy learning. Reading for pleasure is my number one
hobby followed only by spending time with my family and friends. I work hard and
like to have fun. I do my best to instill these values in all of the children.
After spending many years at home with my children, this is my 8th year of
teaching 1st grade here at Moreland Elementary. I hold a masters degree in
Educational Leadership from University of West GA and am currently working on my
specialist degree.
