     Our motto says it best.  Moreland Elementary is committed to providing a dynamic instructional program aimed at building in our students solid foundations, sharp minds and a love for learning.  We welcome you  to our educational family and we trust that this year will be memorable and filled with many new experiences and opportunities.

     A positive elementary experience is vital to a child's educational spirit.  It is during these special years that the student builds the necessary attributes; a confident attitude, a desire for knowledge and a sense of pride in accomplishment.  Our goal is to spark student interest and motivation and to provide a sound educational foundation for future successes.

      I hope you will build a strong partnership with your student’s teacher.  Parent involvement and achievement go hand in hand.  This year we’ll host parent “date weeks” to encourage you or a family member to join your student for lunch.   We also provide a wide array of opportunities for parents to become more involved in volunteer activities and school sponsorship.
