What is the purpose of your club?
Student Council is a nationally affiliated organization that promotes leadership and school involvement. It is a student-run leadership organization.
What are your membership requirements?
6th – 8th graders are elected by their peers to represent their homerooms in the decision-making process. Five executive committee members are also selected.
How often do you meet?
Student Council Members meet during school hours.
What do students do?
Student Council members organize fundraisers for various purposes (LMS Art program, custodian appreciation lunch), participate in Relay for Life, and organize school sponsored activities (such as dances).
