Dear Jefferson Parkway Family,

Let me begin my tenure as principal by saying “CONGRATULATIONS to everyone, WE made AYP!” On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration at Jefferson Parkway Elementary School, I would like to welcome everyone back for an exciting 2009 – 2010 school year.

As Principal of Jefferson Parkway, I am extremely enthusiastic about the new and exciting opportunities that this year, and the future, holds for our new family. This new administration has taken root in the Jefferson Parkway Family Tree and we are bringing new energy, a fresh outlook, and a limitless commitment to working with our teachers, educating our students and establishing Jefferson Parkway as a premier school in the Coweta County School System and the state of Georgia.

We began this new journey by creating and establishing a Mission, a Vision, a set of Beliefs, an Overall Goal and a new Motto that are unique to the Jefferson Parkway Family. This was an effortless accomplishment due to the tremendous input and feedback given by the faculty of Jefferson Parkway. We have developed a new mindset that showcases who we are, what we are about, and where we are leading our students.

Our new school climate and culture will be the impetus that will catapult us towards success. This journey involves the time and talents of all parents, teachers, students, staff, and administration working as one cohesive unit to achieve the same common goal. No one component can stand alone, so it is up to all of us to roll up our sleeves and continue to do our part.

So let us all begin this new school year on the same high note that it ended by celebrating our accomplishment of making AYP and by ushering in an exciting year of change!
