Central Registration

Welcome to Coweta County Schools Central Registration Center!


The Registration Center will be closed Monday, November 23rd thru Friday, November 27th in observation of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Registration Center will be closed Monday, December 21st thru Friday, December 25th

 in observation of the Winter Holiday and Thursday, December 31st and Friday, January 1st in observation of the Winter Holiday.  There will be personnel in the Registration Center Monday, December 28th thru Wednesday, December 30th to assist you with registration


The Coweta County School System educates children from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade through 29 elementary, middle and high schools organized on a district basis.
For your convenience, registration is available at the Central Registration Office . Registration is not available at the schools.

    How do I know which school my child will attend?
    Please telephone the Transportation Office at 770-254-2820 to learn which elementary, middle and high school is in your attendance area.

    How do I register my child for school?
    Registration for Coweta County Schools is a two-step process:  First, online pre-registration must be completed by visiting, and clicking on online registration application link.  Next, you will proceed to the Centralized Registration office located at 167 Werz Industrial Blvd, Newnan, GA with the required documents needed for registration.  *Kiosks are available onsite for those without computer and Internet access.

    Who may register the student? The biological or adoptive parent should enroll the student. If the student is not living with the biological or adoptive parent, a temporary guardianship form must be obtained from the Probate Court or the guardian must have a court order to allow the student to register. An ID will be required for parents and guardians.

    Residency: To enroll in Coweta County Schools, the student's parent or legal guardian AND the student must be a full-time resident of Coweta County.

    What are school hours?

    Elementary school hours: 8:00am to 2:30pm
    Middle school hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm
    High school hours: 8:20am to 3:30pm

    Where can I find a ranking of the schools?

    The Georgia Department of Education publishes Report Cards on all the schools and school districts in Georgia. The Report Card is available on-line at the Georgia Department of Education web site. In addition, each school has copies of its own Report Card for Parents, which is also compiled by the Georgia Department of Education.
