| I have been teaching for the past 17 years. I have taught Pre-K for
the past 2 years. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten here at
Glanton. I am married and I have two sons. My children are in college
and high school. I enjoy reading, gardening and attending my son's
concerts. I attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where I received my degree. |

Please read our weekly newsletter for special activities that we will have in our class and school. We will have the Book Fair in the Fall as well as the Spring. We will visit the GYSTC Science Center for some great science activities this Spring. We plan to have a Christmas Play in December. The children will have Smokey the Bear come for a visit as well as the fire department and police department. |

| I do have nightly homework activities to reinforce
skills that have been taught during the school day. These assignments
should take your child only a few minutes to complete each night. I also send home a monthly Calendar of activities for you and your child to complete together. Your child will only need to complete 15 activities to receive a special treat . |
