PTO Events
Sally Foster: This is our largest fundraiser. Our school earns fifty percent of our total sales. This fundraiser supplements our art teacher’s salary. We could not have our incredible art program without this fundraising success.
Fall Festival: This is our fun-filled Friday evening event. We have games, cakewalks, face-painting, prizes, entertainment, dinner and much more. This is an absolute favorite.
Santa Shop: Each child has the opportunity during school to do some Christmas shopping. Items are priced .10cents to $5.00. Purchases come home wrapped and ready to place under the tree.
Field Day: This takes place in late spring. The children have a day to experience many traditional “field day” activities. Relays, tug-o-war, and obstacle courses are just a few.
Spring Plant Sale: Great opportunity to purchase your beautiful spring plants directly from the Greenhouse and our school benefits.
Terrific Tuesday: This is done every other month as a special treat for our teachers. Emails will be sent out to ask for volunteers to help. This is a great opportunity for working parents to assist.
Box Top Collection: you may return your General Foods box tops which are found on various food items. Every little bit helps.
Fine Arts Program: PTO provides the funds for several in school programs for the children. These can be puppet shows, cultural dancers, magicians or other appropriate programs.
Fall Fun-Run: This will be our 1st Annual Fall Fun Run. Our new track provides a perfect opportunity for this. Each child will collect pledges per lap. Pledges will start at 10 cents. Long sleeve t-shirts will accompany this event. Help make our 1st one the Best!
Homecoming Float: Students are invited to ride on Elm Street’s own homecoming float. The float will be prepared by parents. All are encouraged to help. It is actually a lot of fun.
Other events: Cookie Dough sales, Script Gift cards and Art fundraisers.
**All of the proceeds from our efforts go to support our school, teachers, and most of all, our children. In years past, we have helped fund Smart-Boards, the track, sorted school supplies, play-ground equipment, laminators, cameras, video equipment and many other items. Help make this another successful year for all of our children.
