Charlotte King

I was raised in Tennessee in a small town outside of Nashville.  I always enjoyed school and knew I wanted to become a teacher.

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, K-8, with an emphasis on K-3.

I was fortunate enough to meet a representative from Coweta County at my college’s job fair my senior year, and through the twists and turns of life, landed here at Elm Street three years ago.

I have spent the last three years furthering my education by receiving my Gifted endorsement, as well as receiving my Master’s degree in Education with a Specialization in Teaching and Learning.

On a more personal note, I also got married to my husband, Brandon, on the beach in October 2005.  We just recently bought a house in old Downtown Newnan and are in the process of remodeling.  We live there with our two pets: Chewy, a furry little Affenpincher, and Pea Picker, a Calico cat.

Elm Street has been like a second home and family to us since moving here, and I look forward to the years to come.  J
