Elm
Street News
"ESN" ESN
is the news channel for Elm Street Elementary. The ESN Team is
responsible for planning and producing the morning news program that is
broadcast at our school. The crew arrives early to prepare for the
morning show.
The goal of ESN is to have all students involved. Everyone is
welcome to be a part of the news!
Fourth and fifth grade students apply and audition for positions on the
ESN team. Students must complete an ESN application and have a
recommendation from their homeroom teacher. A parent permission form and
Media Release form is also required. News Team members must maintain
good grades and exhibit excellent conduct both at school and in the
community. Application forms are reviewed then interviews and auditions
are conducted to select members.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact
Carolyn Sears or
Sherry Copeland at the school, 770-254-2865.

Academic Team
Academic
Team is a wonderful group to be a part of. It is open to 4th
and 5th grade students on a tryout basis. There are eight
members on the team. We get to travel within a 7 county area and compete
against various schools in a quiz type format. We have placed very well
the past several years with last year winning all the regular
competitions. The academic team is sponsored by
Miss Mary Beth Muzio and
Mr. Andrew Nase. . |
