Our 5^th grade team is made up of three teachers.  We work closely together to create a cohesive learning environment for our students.

Jane Duenckel

Ms. Duenckel enjoys working with 5^th graders in preparation for middle school.  She has been teaching for 15 years.  Twelve of those years have been at Elm Street.

     Ms. Duenckel is a mother to four grown children.  In addition to her love of teaching, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and doing volunteer services.

Cathy Fetner

       Ms. Fetner loves to teach 5^th grade!  She has taught here in Coweta County for 26 years.  During those years, she has taught gifted education, remedial education, and several different grade levels including middle school.

       Ms. Fetner is married to Joel Fetner, a Newnan police officer, and they have three children and two dogs.  She loves to read, garden, travel, and teach math.

Andrew Nase

      Mr. Nase will begin his 10^th year of teaching.  He has received his Master’s degree from the University of West Georgia. 

      Mr. Nase grew up in Tennessee and is married to Jo Nase, our instructional technology teacher.  They have one son.  Mr. Nase enjoys many sports, especially football.
