Troubleshooting

1) Install the free Yahoo Widget Engine. Follow the on-screen instructions that are given. Read them carefully . You may not want some of the options offered. If it automatically loads some sample widgets onto your desktop, you just need to "right-click" on each widget and choose close. They will not appear again. You can also delete the Yahoo Widget Engine icon that was placed on your desktop. You will not need it.

2) Download the ECMS RSS Widget to your desktop. This is a "Zip" file. It is like a compressed suitcase that decreases the files size. You need to "unzip" this file. You can use Winzip or you can simply click on the file and choose "extract all". This ability is built directly into Windows. This will create a new folder on your desktop. Click on the folder and find the ECMS widget (it may a couple of folder deep). This is the file you need to place in the My Widgets folder. Once there, all you have to do is double click and... well that is all.

3) You can move the widget anywhere you want. Right click on the top bar and you will find several options. If you want to make sure you are viewing the latest information, then click on the icon with the 2 arrows. There may be a pause before it reloads.
