Your grades are the measurement of your progress towards your goal of earning credits and graduating high school.

Grading Scale

	A= 90-100
	B= 80-89
	C=71-79
	D=70
	F= Below 70

Grade Point Average - Your GPA is a calculation of all the final grades you make in high school from your freshmen to your senior year. Your number grades are written as letter grades. You letter grades are given a certain number of points. The points are added together and divided by the number of classes that you have taken.

	A=4 points
	B=3 points
	C=2 points
	D=1 point
	F=0 points

Your GPA is used to see your overall high school average as a letter grade.

	4.0 GPA and higher = A average
	3.0 - 3.9 GPA = B average
	2.0 - 2.9 GPA = C average
	1.0 - 1.9 GPA = D average
	Below .9 GPA = F average
