Canongate Chosen For
"Students Signatures in Space®"
Program!!!

We'd like to offer a special "Thank You" to Mrs. Thomas for coordinating
Canongate's participation in this prestigious program!
Friday, May 1st, was Space Day. Canongate was chosen by Lockheed
Martin and NASA to join with more than 500 other schools around the world by
signing Student Signatures in Space® posters to celebrate “Space Day
2009.”
Our signatures are tentatively scheduled to
go into space on Mission STS-129 in
November 2009 on the Space Shuttle
Discovery! The purpose of the mission is to
deliver components to the International
Space Station. We are all excited about
having a part in a real Space Shuttle
Mission!
