It is very exciting being here at Arnco-Sargent Elementary School, serving the children of Coweta County. As a school nurse, I take vital signs, dispense medication per Doctor's orders, assess students for signs and symptoms of illness or injury, and give plenty of TLC!
 
 
Parent Information:
If your child will be receiving medication, you MUST fill out the required medication form that you may obtain from me. The medicine MUST be in the original container, prescription or otherwise. Students who have shown that they are proficient in using their inhalers may keep them in class with parental permission.
 

In the Classroom:

Wuzzy, Geri Harvey, RN's Health Bear, will be used to help the students learn about various healthy habits and how to stay well. Wuzzy's friends and family include: Buttercup Bear, Sunshine Bear, Lil'bit Bear and Bee Bear.

 Wuzzy's tips:

Get plenty of sleep.
 Eat plenty of fruits and veggies.
 Stay healthy by washing your hands frequently.
