Beta Club – If you are interested in joining the Junior Beta Club at Arnall, pick up an application in the front office. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join the Beta Club if they have an overall 85 average in ALL classes for the last two 9 week grading periods. 6th graders should bring their report card from 5th grade if they want to join. If you were in Beta Club in 5th grade and have a membership card, you should complete the form but you do not have to pay the $15 fee, however, you should still bring your last report card to the meeting. The first meeting is September 9th. Please pick up a form in the front office if interested.
The Heartbeat Club, a non-denominational Christian club is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Please come and join us for our first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 9th at 3:30pm. Be sure to have your rides here by 4:30pm for pick up at the front of the building. Heartbeat Club will be held each 2nd and 4th Tuesday in room 807. This year the Heartbeat Club will take part in a project that will give you the opportunity to not only transform a shoebox, but to also transform a life. By donating very simple and practical gifts you can make a huge difference in the life of another child this Christmas. We hope that you will join us in this year’s Operation Christmas Child campaign and help us reach needy children with shoebox gifts that bring love, hope and joy this Christmas.” Priscilla Letourneau, Club Sponsor (email@example.com)
An Important Message from the School Nutrition Office
For parents who qualify for free and reduced meals, we encourage you to use the option of on-line free and reduced applications for school meals. We already have 123 students use this option, which means their application has already been processed SO no waiting for manual entry of paper applications!!! Thank you so much.
