Students study various types of
wildlife in the Discovery Lab.

Camp Wahsega is nestled in a valley
of the North Georgia Mountains.

Various species of butterflies are
exhibited in one of the labs.

The "Flying Squirrel" is one of the most popular classes. Can you spot the squirrel?

Gold Panning is another popular class. Students are given the opportunity to try their hand at panning for real gold in Ward's Creek. Fool's gold and rocks (as seen above) are abundant, however, students occasionally are able to find real gold (as viewed on the left.)

In Herpetology Class, students have an opportunity to meet snakes "up close and personal". Pablo, an albino corn snake, shows off for the camera!

One of the many displays in the
Herpetology lab.

Wedding Falls feeds Wards creek which runs through the middle of Camp Wahsega.
