Purpose of Our Trip

Our Trip at a Glance

Dates: 2003-2004 seventh graders, mark your calendar! The next field trip dates are listed to the left.
Cost: The, which includes meals, classes, and transportation, will be announced this fall.
Transportation:  Transportation will be provided by local school buses.
Facilities:  There are 8 male and 8 female cabins.  Each cabin houses 13 students and 1 adult.  There are also male and female bath houses which include showers and dressing areas.
Meals:  Lunch on Wednesday will be a sack lunch which students take with them.  All other meals are provided by the camp.  Meals are served in the Camp Dining Hall.
Recreational Facilities:  In addition to many activities, the camp provides basketball, volleyball, horse shoes, and softball for
students to enjoy between scheduled classes and events.
Classes:  Classes are designed to promote teamwork and problem solving.  Classes include Stream Ecology, Gold Panning,
Challenge Course, High Ropes, Herpetology,  Ecology, Night
Wildlife, Entomology, Ornithology, Sensory Awareness, and Gold Panning.

The cost of next year's trip will be announced in the fall of 2003. Students must have accidental coverage under a family insurance policy or Medicaid or must be covered under a 24-hour school policy.
