National PTA - National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.
Family - One of the most comprehensive sites on the Web.  This site provides families with creative ideas and real life solutions. It's user friendly and includes a huge range of topics and relevant information for today's families.
Figure This! - Mathematical challenges for families provide interesting math challenges that middle-school students can do at home with their families.
Helping Your Child Series  - This informative site is published by the U.S. Department of education and offers a wealth of information for both parents and teachers including the Partnership for Family Involvement. "The Helping Your Child Series" offers help to parents in the following  areas: reading, test taking, writing, geography, history, homework, science, library skills, and research. Some series are also offered in Spanish.
Help Your Child Succeed - Contains a variety of articles and ideas for parents. Take a look for ways to help your children succeed in school and in life.
LD Online -  An interactive guide to learning disabilities for parents, teachers, and students, "LD Online" is a service of The Learning Project in Washington D.C.
ADD Online -  a source for both parents and teachers. Many links are include that answer frequently asked questions and gives an overview of ADD and ADHD including diagnosis and treatment.
Gifted Children - Magazine for parents. Includes information on identification, development, and encouragement of gifted children.
National Association for Gifted Children - an organization of parents, teachers, and professional community members who have united to address the needs of gifted children and youth as well as those children who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.
Coping With Divorce - Advice for families and children who feeling the effects of divorce.
Tips for Parents to Improve School Relationships - Offers tips on how to get to know your child's school better, tips on helping your child with homework, and questions to ask at school conferences.
Helping Your Child With Homework - Discusses the purpose of homework, the parent's role along with some expert advice.
Family Education -  An AWESOME site which is part of The Learning Network and offers parents advice, research, and discussion on topics such as raising kids, homework, research, school help, special needs, and educational entertainment and activities for your whole family. It also includes an online atlas, dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedia for your family's use.
Parents Journal - This site has won many awards and features live radio broadcasts that may be accessed through the Internet. It also includes articles on topics relevant to today's changing families.
The Stepfamily Connection - filled with stepfamily resources, new sites, and books.
Foster Parents Care - An online magazine for foster parents, this site a database of wonderful links, a library of information, and foster parent mentors.
Foster Parent Community - This site shares information with foster and adoptive families, prospective foster and adoptive families and anyone involved in the field of working with at-risk children. The site also includes a schedule of guest speakers for their chat room and allows you to participate in chat and e-mail discussions.
National Foster Parent Association - The purpose of this site is to bring together foster parents, agency representatives and community people who wish to work together to improve the foster care system and enhance the lives of all children and families.
Safe Surfin - This Web site's main goal is to help children, teenagers and adults understand how to safely surf the Web so that using the Internet and being online is a safe and fun experience.
Talking With Kids About Tough Issues - "Talking with Kids About Tough Issues" teams up with Nickelodeon in a national initiative to support parent-child communication about "tough issues" like sex, violence, drugs and respect.
Tobacco Free Kids - This site is fighting to free America's youth from tobacco and to create a healthier environment. The Campaign is one of the nation's largest non-governmental initiative ever launched to protect children from tobacco addiction and exposure to secondhand smoke. It includes up-to-date information for parents, teachers, and youth.
