The girls’ matches will be held at East Coweta Middle and the boys’
matches will be held at Northgate High School. The Championship matches
will be held at Northgate High School.
***East Coweta Middle School Matches
All matches involving East Coweta will be at ECMS. If you are the home
team when you play ECMS; you need to supply gate keepers, supervision,
etc. Both the girls’ and boys’ matches will be played at ECMS. Let Jeff
Kelly at ECMS know if you are going to run a concession stand at ECMS
when you are the home team (if not, ECMS will run a concession stand).
Note: The annual Georgia Beta Club Convention is November 20 and 21.

Nine-weeks testing is October 7-9.
Teacher workday is October 10.
ITBS testing is October 13—17.
It was necessary to
make changes from the original schedule to the extending of the football
season by one week due to Hurricane Fay in August. Further changes were
needed because Madras and Smokey Road had major conflicts due to coaches
and players with both soccer and football. Smokey Road did not have
enough players to play soccer until after the playoffs. Roy Hitchcock
of Madras had to coach both boys’ soccer and football. The coaches and
athletic directors decided to make the changes to help all schools
involved at the GSOA Rules Clinic for coaches at Lee Middle School on
October 13, 2008. |
