Arnall Middle
School Dance
Guidelines & Information
- All
normal school rules apply concerning behavior while in attendance at the
dance.
- Students
must have NO MAJOR disciplinary referrals during the 5 days prior to the
school dance. Students will be
notified by the close of the day on Thursday, of the NO DANCE LIST by the
assistant principals.
- Students
must agree to the dance guidelines to attend the event.
- Students
must be present at school in order to attend the dance. Students may remain after school to
attend the dance.
- Only Arnall
Middle School students may
attend the dance. No guests,
visitors, siblings, or other relatives are allowed. (Only Parent Chaperones
are permitted)
- Teachers
and adult chaperones will be at the dance to assist. Students should be respectful and obey
teachers and other chaperones at all times.
- Music
will be provided by a live DJ.
- Students
should dance appropriately. Dirty
dancing and lewd behavior is not allowed.
Students should not run in the gymnasium during the dance.
- Students
found misbehaving or not following the student guidelines for the dance
will be required to leave the dance and call a parent to take them
home. NO REFUNDS will be given in
this case.
- The
dance begins at 4:00 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m. All students should have transportation
waiting for them at this time. Student
pick-up will be in the bus zone between Arnall Middle
and White Oak Elementary
School ONLY!!! YOUR
RIDE MUST PICK YOU UP NO LATER THAN 6:15!!!!!!!! Parents may line up cars in any one of
several lanes. Students should be
picked up at the front of the car lanes to help with safety concerns and
traffic control.
- Students
should make all transportation arrangements in advance. Students should not plan to utilize
school telephones at the end of the dance.
- Refreshments
will also be available for purchase.
