Ten Givens

1. We will provide students with high-content, engaging schoolwork;
-Work that is embedded in the design qualities;
-Work that is challenging to students;
-Work with which students persist when they experience difficulty;
-Work from which student gain a sense of satisfaction.

2. We are leaders and inventors of quality work, seeking high standards and expectation for student success.

3. We will work in a collegial and collaborative manner, seeking input from collegues.

4. We will adhere to our goal of keeping all students in school and in class. We value and celebrate good attendance.

5. We will treat faculty and staff with respect and professionalism. We model manner, a sense of responsibility, pride, and compassion.

6. All staff members accept responsibility for each student. We will supervise all students all the time.

7. We will model the importance of school by being prompt in duties and responsibilities and prepared to teach engaging lessons each day.

8. We will meet monthly for lesson sharing and staff development in order to continue to perfect our teaching craft.

9. We will respect our school by maintaining a clean environment.

10. We will hold positive and meaningful partnerships with families. We believe this is essential to the overall success of our students.
